Johnny Wayne Fisher, 75, of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, February 26, 2024.  The Alabama native and U.S. Navy Veteran had lived in Wayne County the past 20 years and was a Christian. He retired from truck driving and enjoyed watching westerns and singing old country songs.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Melinda Bailey Fisher of Jesup; two daughters, Helen Schaffer of Ohio and Sabrina Fisher of Colorado; a son, Johnny Wayne Fisher, Jr. of Jesup; a brother, Bobby C. Fisher of Colorado; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held privately.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
