John Pipe, 73, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in the Hospice of South Georgia Inpatient Unit.  The Puerto Rico native was reared in England and then moved to Fort Lauderdale in his adult life but lived in Wayne County the past 20 years.  He was a dedicated and retired engineer, teacher and pilot.  John was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  His hobbies included flying private planes and restoring and showing classic cars.

Survivors are his wife, Denese Pipe of Jesup; two daughters, Jessica (William) Sellars of Tenn. and Jenny (Andy) Gow of Va.; 3 sons, James (Natasha) Pipe of England, Michael (Rosalie) Kenn of Fla. and Eric (Sierra "C.C.") Kenn of Screven; 9 grandchildren, Hunter, Taylor, Emily, Michael, William, Lewis, Fraser, Cooper and Evan.

A celebration of life and interment will be on the Isle of Wight in England.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake Grace Christian School, 5393 Odum Screven Road, Jesup, GA 31545.
