John M. "Johnny" Abbott, 66, of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, June 17, 2024. The Wayne County native was a Pentecostal Worshiper and enjoyed bike riding and collecting cans. He was predeceased by his parents, Evon and Thelma Harris Abbott; a brother, James Abbott.

Survivors are his sister, Jewell Abbott of Jesup; an aunt, Jeanette Interiano of Jesup; and several cousins.

Services are being held by his family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
