John Kevin Jones, 62, of Allenhurst, Ga. died Sunday, January 1, 2023. The Maine native and former resident of Las Vegas, Nevada had lived in Liberty County for the past two years. The U.S. Army Veteran was a retired hard count supervisor with Casino Royale Casino. He loved sports, collecting baseball cards and especially adored his cat, Missy.

Survivors are a brother, Michael (Alice) Jones of Allenhurst; several other extended family members.

Private memorial services will be held by the family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
