John Henry Collins, 80, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on June 9, 2025.  The Wayne County native was a painter most of his life and enjoyed fishing, swinging and watching old westerns.  He was predeceased by his parents, Stacy and Alma Lou Johnson Collins; 5 sisters, McKee, Hazel, Linda Sue, Melissa and Gina.

Survivors are two daughters, Belinda and Margaret; son, Dale Collins, Sr.; brothers, Jack (Betty) Collins of Plains and Henry (Bonnie Deen) Collins of Jesup; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be 2 PM Monday, June 16, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Jack Collins officiating. Private interment will follow.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
