Joey F. Jackson, 61, of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, April 15, 2024. The Wayne County native was a construction worker and loved his animals, fishing and hunting. He was currently employed with Jackson's Lawn Care Service and was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Jean Griffis Jackson.

Survivors are his companion, Darlene Paker of Jesup; two sons, Evan (Bree) Jackson and Jarrett (Kendyl) Jackson both of Jesup; sisters, Candy (Rex) Hayes of Jesup, Sandy Jackson, and Lynn (Jeffrey) Graham both of Screven; brother, Bruce Jackson of Screven; two grandchildren, Josie Mae Jackson and Jett Brooks Jackson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 18, 2024 from Old Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Ledbetter officiating.

Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church.
