Jerryll Ann "Jerri" Guthrie Collins, 82, of Jesup passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 30, 2025 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Jerri received the best of care from Hospice of South Georgia.

Jerri loved being a wife, mother, and Mimi. She was a homemaker and cherished the job of caring for her home and family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, growing flowers, and listening to Elvis Presley. She also treasured family vacations at Fernandina Beach, collecting seashells, soaking up the sun, and swimming in the ocean.

Jerri Ann Guthrie was born in Brunswick on December 29, 1942. The Guthrie family moved to Manor, GA in 1947, and Jerri graduated from Manor High School in 1960. She was voted "most beautiful" senior superlative. After attending South Georgia College in Douglas, Jerri married Glynn Collins, the love of her life. Jerri lived in Wayne County for the past 60 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, Lewis D. "Buck" Guthrie and Laura Belle Harris Guthrie, her brother, Lewis D. Guthrie Jr., her husband, Glynn E. Collins, and her grandson, Brandon Lee Collins.

Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Renee Collins of Brunswick and Kipp and Jenny Collins of Jesup; a daughter, Julie Collins Roberson of Jesup; four grandchildren, Hunter and Laura Kate Roberson, Harris (Kacey) Collins and Alex Collins.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday, October 6, 2025 at Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick with Reverends John A. Stoddard and Fred Anderson officiating. Active pallbearers will be Woog Roberson, Ryan Madray, Kevin Moxley, David Paul, Shaun O'Quinn, Tim Sloan and Ian Greene.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 PM Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel.
