Jeanne Wilkins Hinson, 68, of Jesup, Ga. transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.  The Augusta native had lived in Wayne County all of her life and was a faithful member for 50 years at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, where she had her hand in almost every committee including treasurer, Ladies Ministry Board and Food Circle.  After she received her Accounting Associate's degree, she worked at Ad Graphics.  Her seamstress talent helped her when she worked at Pat's Bridal Shop.  Jeanne epitomized the Proverbs 31 lady as she had a servant's heart, especially for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She wore many hats as "Nana Great" while she drove the taxi for her grandchildren, cooked and helped with homework and school projects.  Prayer and laughter were her medicine of choice and it was contagious. Her parents, Joe and Fleur Wilkins preceded her in death along with her sister, Teresa Wilkins.

Survivors are her husband of 52 years, Charlie Hinson, III, of Jesup; a daughter, Niki (Curtis) Rowell of Jesup; a son, Charlie M. (Kim) Hinson, IV of Odum; 4 grandchildren, Jase (Morgan) Ryals, Camren (Brittany) Ryals, Jordan Hinson, Charles "Chase" M. (Kristen) Hinson, V; two great grandchildren, Hadley Grace and Charles "Chance" M. Hinson, VI; a sister, Pam Wilkins of Hiwassee.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Victory Tabernacle Church of God with Pastor Keith Lairsey and Rev. Matt Denison officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jase and Camren Ryals, Chase Hinson, Travis Westberry, Larry Tyre and Mike Westberry. Honorary pallbearers will be her church family.

Visitation will be 9:30 AM to 11 AM prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kids Kuisine at Victory Tabernacle Church of God Ministry, 6050 U.S. Hwy. 341, Jesup, GA 31546.
