Jeanette Hutcheson, 72, of Hortense, Ga. died Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The Bacon County native and former resident of Brunswick and Wilsonville had lived in Brantley County for the past 24 years. She was a member of Hortense Church of God of Prophecy and helped her husband with his masonry business.  Jeanette loved nature and enjoyed bird watching, fishing and watching game shows.  Her husband, Carl Herbert Hutcheson preceded her in death along with two sons, Phillip Michael McDonald, Jr. and Dustin Lamar Hutcheson; a brother, Keith Hutcheson.

Survivors are a daughter, Janie Hutcheson of Hortense; two sons, Eugene McDonald of Palatka, Fla. and Justin (Lindamarie) Hutcheson of Hortense; brother, Samuel "Skeeter" (Sheryl) Hutcheson, Jr.; sister, Nadavah McDonald; two step-daughters, Tammy (Aaron) Neeley of Big Bear City, Calif. and Lisa ( Hernan) Salgado of Grand Junction, Co.; 3 step-sons, Carl F. (Tammy ) Hutcheson, Michael Hutcheson, both of Douglas and Remi (Nancy) Hutcheson of Brunswick; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; a special niece, Tina Jo Lewis of Palatka, Fla. along with several other relatives.

Graveside funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, May 30, 2024 at  Satilla Cemetery with Rev. Rob Hutto officiating.

Family will receive friends at the cemetery.
