Janell "Nell" Cottle Brannen, 91, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025.  She was a longtime seamstress and enjoyed working with her flowers in her yard.  Her son, James R. "Bobby" Ogden preceded her in death along with her siblings, Lawrence, Adrian, Jimmy, Isabell, Nina Mae and Pete.

Survivors are her two daughters, Pat (Donatas) Siliunas of Odum and Terry (Dean) Johnson of Jesup; two sons, Kenneth A. Ogden and Wendell F. Brannen, both of Jesup; sisters, Peggy Kaufman of Millen, Bertha Johnson of Folkston and Mary (W.C.) Sanderson of Kingsland; grandchildren, Stephanie, Amy, Tina, Dena and Sarah Lynn; great grandchildren, Amanda, Hannah, Savannah, Jacob, Victoria, Nicholas and Ava; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel with Hospice of South Georgia Chaplain Phil Bunce officiating. Interment will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
