Hortense, Georgia James Franklin "Jimmy" Walker, Jr. 69, of Hortense, GA, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at his residence after an extended illness. The Wayne Co., GA, native and former resident of Atlanta, GA, had lived in Brantley Co., GA, the past 4 years and was a retired Police Officer with the Suwanne Georgia Police Department. He was a former United Nations Peace Keeper serving overseas. Survivors are his wife of 47 years: Brenda Collins Walker of Hortense, GA, 2 daughters: Tina Pearce of Jesup, GA, Nickee Walker of Hortense, GA, a son: James Franklin Walker, III of Hortense, GA, 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 2 P. M. Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment services will be held by the family. Visitation will be 1 to 2 P. M.
