James Ormandy, 69, of Jesup, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  The West Virginia native had lived in Wayne County most of his adult life and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.  He was a former employee with Jesup Furniture Outlet and enjoyed helping others with their computers.  James was predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Shirley Chrysler Ormandy, 4 sisters and a brother.

Survivors are a brother, Robert Ormandy of Odum; several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Dr. Ron Wilcox officiating. Interment will be in the Altamaha Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be friends and family members.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
