James Aaron Estes, 68, of Jesup, Ga. and formerly of Dublin passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  The Laurens County native and Baptist was a former police officer with the Washington County Police Department and a truck driver for Harlow Valley Packing Company.  Fishing was his favorite sport and listening to country music was also a favorite pastime.  His parents, William James and Mary Frances Estes preceded him in death.

Survivors are two daughters, Rachael "Nikki" (John Glover) Estes of East Dublin and Heather (Darrin, II) Stoneking of Jesup; a son, Troy (Jessica) Estes of Dublin; 7 grandchildren, Aliyah, Eric, Aaron, Jayden, Elijah, Dale "D.J." and Bryson.

A celebration of life will be held by the family.
