Jacqueline Ruth Hines Arnold, 83, of Jesup, Ga. passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026. The New York native had lived in Wayne County for 23 years and was a member of God’s Way Worship Center. She was a U.S. Marine veteran and a 23-year retired Civil Service member. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and crafts. She was predeceased by her husbands, Lacy Echols and Emory Arnold, Jr. and a daughter, Chris Loper, 3 grandchildren, Jeremy Echols, Charles Woods, and Trey Waddell; a step daughter, Reba Jo Brown.

Survivors are 3 daughters, Dixie (Eddie) Walls, of Reidsville, Ga., Tracy Gordon and Carla (Paul) Ray both of Ludowici, Ga.; two sons, Phil (Judy) Echols of Jesup and Jerry (Jennifer) Echols of Midway, Ga.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one step daughter, Candace Arnold of Lake Park, Ga.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Sloan and Rev. Alan Darsey officiating.

Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
