Idoma "Doomer" Swain Johnson, 87, of Baxley, Ga. passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024. The Waycross native grew up in Jesup and was a Pentecostal Believer. She was a homemaker and loved to crochet, spend time with her family, and watch the game show network. Her husband, Dan Johnson preceded her in death; two daughters, Sheila Johnson and Phyllis Hall; and a son, Danny Johnson; two sisters, Bobbie Jean Knight and Irene Mobley; and a brother, Edward Swain.

Survivors are a daughter, Charlotte (Chris) Hall of Baxley; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating. Private interment will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
