Jesup, Ga.

Rev. Howard "Morris Keener" Sellers, 69, of Jesup and Vidalia, Georgia died Saturday, January 16, 2016 after a short illness. The Rock Hill, South Carolina native had spent most of his life in Wayne County, Georgia and was an ordained Church of God Minister for over 25 years and was an IBEW #508 Union Journeymen Electrician. He enjoyed playing Santa Claus for many years at so many events during the holiday season. He was predeceased by his wives, Martha Ann Sellers-Sellers and Grace Garcia Sellers; parents, Howard and Martha Morris Sellers Keener; step-father, Mark P. Keener; great nephew, Gage Keener.

Survivors are his daughters, Zoie (Al) Humphrey of Vidalia and Dr. Marcie Le'Ann Sellers of Jesup; brothers, Glenn (Susan) Keener and Allen (Peggy) Keener, both of Jesup, Alvin (Lillian) Keener of Goldsboro, North Carolina; grandchildren, John Howard (fiancé, Kayla "Tater" Heckel) Humphrey and Angel Belen Humphrey; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Service/Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating along with American Legion Post 311 presenting the American Flag.
