Harry Lynn, Sr. of Jesup, Ga. died Thursday, August 31, 2023. The Bristol native had lived all of his life in Wayne County was a member of Jesup Church of God. The U.S. Army Veteran was a retired millwright with B.E. and K. Company and a retired school bus driver. He loved to hunt, fish, and woodwork. His parents, Benton T. "B.T." and Ocie Lynn preceded him in death along with 3 brothers, Alton Lynn, Charles "Judge" Lynn and Shorty Lynn.

Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Donnie Lynn of Jesup; a daughter, Marliese (J.R.) Tankersley of Jesup; two sons, H. Elton, Jr,(Peggy) Lynn and Michael (Teresa) Lynn both of Jesup; 8 grandchildren, Sheree (Patrick) Markel, Lucinda (Randy) Lee, Rachel (Chad) Brooker, Miranda (Ray) Boyles, Michael Allan (Dawn) Elliott, Caleb (Sam) Lynn, Sonya Gill, and Polly (Dustin) Thornton; several great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Geneva Clements, Jenny Lane, and Bertha Aldridge; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Jesup Church of God with Rev. Clayton Dowd and Rev. Leroy Spivey officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
