Gerald Wayne Turner, 88, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025.  The Pennsylvania native and former resident had lived in numerous cities including Jesup for the past few years.  He ended his career with BE & K Construction Company as a cost engineer in 2001.  He never knew a stranger and enjoyed traveling and reading.  Many considered him a "Jack of all trades" with his handyman skills. His parents and son, Charles Turner preceded him in death along with two grandsons.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy Turner of Jesup; 6 daughters, 1 son, 6 granddaughters, 5 grandsons and numerous other relatives.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
