George Oliver, 77, of Jesup, Ga. and formerly of Guyton passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.  The Florida native was a Baptist and a truck driver and mechanic.  The U.S. Army Veteran served in the Vietnam War.  His brothers, Darrell and Dennis preceded him in death along with his sister, Delanor Oliver.

Survivors are his 3 daughters, Terrie, Stephanie and Heather; a brother, Maynard (Karon) Oliver of Claxton; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home along with the U.S. Military Flag Presentation.

Private interment will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
