Gary Dean Wilkinson, 82, of Baxley, Ga. died Sunday, January 19, 2025.  The Illinois native had lived in Baxley for the past 3 years and was a retired automotive mechanic and a U.S. Army Veteran serving 2 tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed computers, traveling, and eating good food.

Survivors are his wife, Dottie Wilkinson of Baxley; a son, Tom Wilkinson of Blackshear; a daughter, Melissa Curtiss of Oskalosa, Iowa; and 4 grandchildren.

VA Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Ga. with Military Honors.
