Gary Richard Madray, 74, of Jesup, Ga. and St. Mary's, Ga. passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025.  The Wayne County native, U.S. Army Veteran and a 1968 Wayne County High School Graduate attended Agape Christian Fellowship Church in St. Mary's and participated in mission work.  He was a graduate of Freewill Baptist Bible College and a member of the Camden County Art League.  Gary was complimented on his artwork of nature and always enjoyed being outdoors.  His parents, Richard and Vada Anderson Madray preceded him in death.

Survivors are a son, Marcus (Sarah) Madray of Melbourne, Fla.; brothers, Raymond (Cheryl) Madray of Jesup and Rich (Cheryl) Madray of Lincolnton; 3 grandchildren; a special friend and caregiver, Laura Lucas of St. Mary's.

Graveside funeral services will be 1 PM Friday, September 26, 2025 in New Hope Cemetery with Pastor Tim Horne officiating.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Golden Isles and especially Evelyn for taking good care of him.
