Frances Ann Thompson, age 91, fell asleep in death after a brief illness on April 1, 2023. She was born on October 31, 1931 in Reidsville, GA as one of 13 siblings. She married George Dainton Thompson on January 1, 1947, and lived in Savannah for 71 years. She was a mother of two daughters, Georganne and Wynn, and spent 81 years of her life in service to God as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. In her lifetime, she directly helped 20 people learn the Bible and encouraged countless others. She worked for Union Camp and K-Mart in Savannah. In 2018, she moved to Jesup, GA where she lived until her death. She is predeceased in death by her parents, Lewis Reynolds McCumber and Annie Pearl Parker; her husband, George Dainton Thompson; a daughter, Georganne Bruce; and 9 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by a daughter Wynn Greene with Jerry Brown; 6 grandchildren, Carroll Emerson with Julia, Dainette Barrow with Clay, Glenda Antosh with Shannon, Jessica Greene with Josh Grant, Jennifer Greene with Shane Bears, and Kaitlyn Greene; 7 great-grandchildren, Peyton with Brandon, Shyanne, Dakota, Lexie, Savanah, Damien, and Wade with Emilee; and 5 great great-grandchildren, Gwen, Maddy, Eliana, Elisia, and Rowyn.

Private graveside services will be officiated by Carroll Emerson.
