Jesup, Georgia Floyd O. Moody, 77, of Jesup, GA, died Sunday, May 29, 2011, in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Brantley Co., GA, native had lived in Wayne Co., GA, the past 39 years. He was a member of the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, & retired 26 year employee of the Maintenance Department of the Wayne County Board of Education. He was predeceased by his mother: Ocie Moody. Survivors are his wife of 39 years: Charlotte Ann Edenfield Moody of Jesup, GA, a son: Jeffrey (Jamie) Moody of Jesup, GA, 2 grandchildren: Acie Moody & Austin Moody, both of Jesup, GA, a brother: M. L. (Nora) Carver of Hortense, GA, several nieces & nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 11 A. M. Tuesday, May 31, 2011, from the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Tim Horne officiating. Active pallbearers will be: Family. Family will receive friends at the cemetery.
