Faye Duhon Waters, 80, of Jesup, passed away, Wednesday, Oct.1, 2025, at her residence.  The Louisiana native had lived in Wayne County most of her life and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  She went to Odum High School and Wayne County High School and then continued her education at Brunswick College pursuing a master cosmetology degree. Her community service involved being a past member of the Odum Garden Club. Faye was a family centered person who loved her husband, daughter, granddaughters and great grandchildren.  Shopping was a passion but spending time with her family was her most important purpose.  Her husband of 58 years, Bobby Waters preceded her in death along with her sister, Frances Bland.

Survivors are a daughter, Melisa (Eric) Mallard of Jesup; granddaughters, Erica (Jordan) Anderson of Jesup and Brittney (Brenton) Fowler of Cartersville; great grandchildren, Eli and Silas; a brother, Ray (Sue) Duhon of Jesup; a brother-in-law, Gene Bland of Jesup; brother-in-law, Hank (Mary Jean) Waters of Victoria, Tx.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Will Bacon  officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
