Eunive "Bee" Haire
Pittman
Dec 12, 1929 — Oct 11, 2026
Eunive “Bee” Haire Pittman, age 96, of Panama City, Florida, formerly of Jesup, Georgia, peacefully received her angel wings on Sunday, October 11, 2026. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend, Eunive leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Born and raised in Wayne County, Georgia, Eunive was a longtime member of Jesup First Baptist Church and faithfully served her community as a lunchroom lady at Wayne County High School. She had a heart for caring for others, whether through her work, her church, or the many ways she showed love to her family. She especially enjoyed working in the church nursery and babysitting, sharing her nurturing spirit with generations of children.
Born Clara Eunive Hodge, she was affectionately known by many as Eunive, Bee, Momma or Granny—names that reflected the special place she held in the hearts of those who loved her. But if you happened to call her by her given name, Clara, you were sure to receive the look! It was one of those little things that made Eunive so wonderfully unique and brought a smile to the faces of those who knew her best. These endearing quirks, along with her loving heart and unmistakable personality, are memories her family will cherish forever.
Eunive found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved chewing gum, baking, cooking, hunting for treasures at garage sales, and collecting chickens and roosters. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her warm heart, loving nature, and unique personality made her a special part of so many lives. The memories she created, the love she shared, and the laughter she brought to those around her will be treasured for years to come.
Eunive was preceded in death by her husbands, Denvis Eugene Haire, the father of her children, and Nick Pittman; her parents, “Arch” and Ida Hodge; her siblings; her son, Ralph Eugene Haire; her daughter-in-law, Cynthia P. Haire; her grandson, Jamie Eugene Haire; and great grandson Warren Thomas Cottle II.
Those left to cherish her precious memory include her loving son, Archie Eddie (Barb) Haire; her grandchildren, Tricia (Chuck) Cottle, Michael (Brandi) O’Haegher, Jaimie Jernigan, Dale Jernigan, Michelle Staeheli, and Nichole (Wyatt) Meadows; ten great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Each of them carries a piece of Eunive’s love and the memories of a life that touched so many hearts.
Though Eunive's earthly journey has come to an end, her love will continue to shine through the generations of family she leaves behind. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her love of family, her special quirks, and the countless little moments that made her so dearly loved. While she will be deeply missed, her family can find comfort in knowing that her love will never fade and that her memory will forever remain a treasured blessing.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
