Eric Doyle Deal, 69, of Bristol, Ga. died Wednesday, April 12, 2023. The Wayne County native had lived in Bristol all of his life and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a former tradesman and enjoyed fishing, reading, and researching old home sites. His parents, Doyle and Louise Dixon Deal preceded him in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Ericalin Deal of Tampa, Florida; two sisters, Sandra (Dwight) Sellers of Alma and Sarita (William) Pope of Macon; 3 brothers, Adrian Deal of Screven, Anthony (Margaret) Deal and Johnny Deal both of Douglas, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m.,  Sunday, April 16, 2023, in Lake Chapel Cemetery with Elder Jason Deal officiating. Active pallbearers will be family.
