Elois Sams Griffin, 93, of Brunswick, Ga. died Tuesday, May 9, 2023. The Mt. Vernon, Ga. native had lived in Glynn County most of her life and was a charter member of Coastal Baptist Church of Brunswick. She was mostly known as the "Lady Under the Bridge" for her beautiful jewelry. Her husband, L.D. Griffin preceded her in death along with her daughter, Patricia Brannam.

Survivors are two daughters, Carol (Ron) Gay and Linda (Greg) Horne, both of Brunswick; 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private graveside burial services were held in Union Cemetery Thursday morning next to her husband's grave.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
