Edythe "Edye" Oliver Wasdin, 70, of Augusta, Ga. passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025.  The Maine native had lived in Georgia the past 35 years and was a member of Bayville Baptist Church.  She worked in the school cafeteria and spent time with her best friend, Pauline Collins at the lake.  Some other favorite pastimes were cooking and serving food for fellowships at the church, reading, knitting but most of all, traveling to Maine to visit her son, grandchildren and siblings with her husband every year.  Her parents, James and Helen Oliver preceded her in death along with a special nephew, Shadrack Wingate.

Survivors are her husband who loved her very much and will miss her sorely, Estes Wasdin, Jr. of Augusta; a son, Darren Raynard (Heather) Knowles of Manchester, Maine; two grandchildren, Cam and Emma; a sister, Wendy Wingate; 3 brothers, Jeff, Roger and Chad Oliver and their families.

A private family funeral service will be held in the Lake Chapel Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.
