Edwin Jake Denny, 71, of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, May 1, 2024. The Michigan native had lived in Wayne County the past few years and was a sheetrock finisher. He enjoyed his pets and being with his family and was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

Survivors are his two sisters, Judy Blankenship of Hortense, Ga. and Sandra Soto of Jesup; a brother, David Denny of Macon, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held by his family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
