Durand H. Westberry, 73, of Odum, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.  The Florida native had lived in Wayne County the past 17 years, was a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church and the Shriners and Masons. Durand loved to hunt deer and hogs and watch Westerns.  His wife, Renee Rondeau Westberry preceded him in death along with his parents, Cecil and Helen Westberry and his brother, Calvert Westberry.

Survivors are his two brothers, Ernie and Robert Westberry, both of Odum; a brother-in-law, Paul (Tami) Rondeau of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, July 7, 2025 at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Horne officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be his family and friends.

Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the church.
