Doyal E Scoggins, 92, of Jesup, Ga. died October 4, 2023. The Florida native had lived in Wayne County the past 20 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. He was a 20- year retired Major in the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed hunting, fishing and bee keeping. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Scoggins and a former wife, Fuji.

Survivors are his step children; Thomas and Timothy Scott both of Jesup and John Smith and Connie; his sister, Faye Sheard; 3 brothers, Marvin Scoggins, Lloyd Scoggins, and Kenny Scoggins.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2023 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vann Dempsey officiating.

Family will receive friends 1:30 to 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
