Dorothy Knight Hobbs, 85, of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, April 19, 2023. The Wayne County native attended Little Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed flower arranging and crafts. Her husband, Edward A. Hobbs preceded her in death along with her son, Charles E. Hobbs; parents, E.C. and Lillie Knight; a sister, Frances K. Rowe and brother, Roy ("Buddy") Knight.

Survivors are a daughter, Brenda (Steve) Jones of Lakeland, TN; son, Doc Hobbs of Jesup; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Milva Knight; brother-in-law, Larry Rowe; daughter in law, Mary Hobbs; 3 very special lifelong friends; several nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, April 24, 2023 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Manning, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Knight Family Cemetery on E.C. Knight Road in Jesup. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
