Doris Hogan Anderson, 83 of Dublin, Ga. formerly of Jesup, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. The Jonesboro native was a Christian Baptist and a homemaker. She loved to work in her yard, enjoying nature. Doris was a very vibrant, independent woman who needed no assistance in her latter years. She is predeceased by her son, Jack Anderson; sisters, Gladys Westberry, Betty Jean Hogan and Marilyn Seagraves; brothers, Dock Hogan and Ricky Westberry.

Survivors are two daughters, Glenda (Randy) Stapleton and Angie (Ken) Phillips, both of Jesup; 4 sons, Jimmy (Tempie) Anderson of Jesup, Joe (Jan) Anderson of Brunswick, John "J.P." Anderson of Wrightsville and Charles (LeeAnn) Harris of Dublin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Sam "Billy" (Sylvia) Hogan of Orlando, Florida, Paul (Carolyn) Hogan of Dublin and David "Bo" (Shirley) Hogan of Blitchton.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Daughtry officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
