Donald "Don" Snyder, 80, of Jesup, Ga. died Saturday, March 4, 2023.  The Waynesboro, Penn. native had lived in Wayne County most of his adult life and was a U.S. Army Veteran.  He was a member of Jesup Primitive Baptist Church, a retired postal clerk and owner of Snyder Electrical and Plumbing Company.  Some favorite pastimes were fishing, riding the river and in the country, listening to music, building and remodeling. His parents, Charles and Della Snyder preceded him in death along with 3 brothers, Charles, Jr. "Buddy" and Kenneth "Ken" and Richard "Dick" Snyder and an infant sister, Nancy Jean Snyder.

Survivors are two daughters, Sue "Eric" Mallard of LaGrange and Debbie (Howard) Wasdin of Fernandina Beach, Fla. and their mother, Barbara "Bobbie" Snyder Browning of Jesup; 3 grandchildren, Stephen (Christy) Mallard and their children, Bryson and Samuel, Katie (Phillip) LaCount and their children, Dixie and Ryder, Eryn (Paul) Graeter and their children, Emma and Maverick; step-grandchildren, Blake (Jordan) Wasdin and their children, Tripp and Banks, Rachel Wasdin and her children, Kayden and Jace and Kara Watson; a sister, Ann Louise (Bob) Bevins of McSherrystown, Penn.; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, March 5, 2023 in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA 31545.
