Richard "Dickie" Franklin Smith, 49, of Brunswick, Ga. passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023.  The Chatham County native was a self employed painter who loved to ride motorcycles and trade cars.  His parents, Hugh Max, Smith, Sr. and Margaret McKinnon preceded him in death along with two siblings, Rusty Smith and Kerri Lawrence.

Survivors are two daughters, Cammie Smith of Brunswick and Faith Reyes of Hazlehurst; 4 sons, Chris Smith of Brunswick, Richard Smith, Jr. of Nahunta, Miles Fryar and Cameron Smith, both of Brunswick; 12 brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
