Dewitt Hugh "Buddy" Sapp, 67, of Jesup, Georgia died Monday, September 26, 2022. The Wayne County native attended Calvary Baptist Church and was an employee with Rayonier of Jesup. He was a 1975 graduate of Wayne County High School and enjoyed fishing, working on automobiles and chainsaws and especially loved having coffee with all of his friends. He was predeceased by his parents, D. Hugh and June Sapp and his grandparents, George and Dorothy Fender.

Survivors are his wife of 44 years, Sharon Bishop Sapp of Jesup; son, Chris Osborne of Jesup; siblings, Ann (Porky) Anderson, Larry Sapp, and Karen Sapp, all of Jesup; two grandchildren, Grace and Riley Osborne; and extended family.

Celebration of Life Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Pete Boyd officiating. Private interment is being held by his family.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Calvary Baptist Church P.O. Box 9, Jesup, GA. 31598.
