Debra J. Booth, 62, of Jesup, Ga.  died Sunday, August 6, 2023.  The New York native had lived in Wayne County the past 20 years and was a former home health worker.  She enjoyed taking care of her mother and her pets.  Animal rescue was a very important issue for Debra. Her sister, Susan Elliott preceded her in death.

Survivors are her mother, Beverly Bedell Detro Akiki of Jesup; sisters, Phyllis Ryan of Ontario, NY and Lori Stevenot of Hudson, Ohio; a special nephew, Jay Andrew Holbrook of Jesup.

Memorial services will be held by the family.
