Jesup, Ga.

David Vernon "Bird" Bell, Jr., 28, of Jesup died Monday, June 20, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital of an apparent blood clot. The Wayne County native was a Graduate of Wayne County High School and Operations Manager of David Bell Trucking, Inc. in Screven. He was a loving husband and father, member of Screven Masonic Lodge, enjoyed his family, gardening, and riding motorcycles. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Henry and Doris Bell, Bud and Marie Harrison.

Survivors are his wife of 2 years, Nicole LeCount Bell of Jesup; 2 sons, Dayton Bell and Jaxxon Bell of Jesup; 2 step-sons, Dylan and Jacob Leach of Jesup; mother and father, David and Sharee Bell of Screven; 2 sisters, Dana Bell (Adam Mattingly) of Jesup, Heather and Jason Ulrickson of St. Augustine, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Screven City Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Wood and Rev. Tom Ratliff officiating along with full Masonic Rites.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the funeral home.
