David" Ronald" Leggett, 77, of Odum, Ga. passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024. The Wayne County native was an active member of Crossroads Church of God and a 33- year retiree with Georgia Department of Transportation. His retirement life was very much enjoyed with camping and fishing with his family and by all means keeping up with the Atlanta Braves.  His wife of 53 years, Carolyn Starling Leggett preceded him in death.

Survivors are two daughters, Joy (Richard) Surrency and Ronda Leggett, both of Odum; two grandchildren, Lane and Hannah Surrency of Odum; a brother, Jerry (Freda) Leggett of Odum; life- long grand dogs, Bandit and Milo who kept him company.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Pastor  Justin Moriarty and Pastor Brandon Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m.  prior to services at the funeral home.
