David T. Felt, 81, of Jesup, Ga. died Friday, July 22, 2022. The Flint, Michigan native had lived in Wayne County for past 60 years and was a charter member with Liberty Lighthouse Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a Rayonier retiree and former member of the Jesup Jaycees. He enjoyed spending time with family and friend and dining at the Huddle House. He is predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Glenda Lastinger Felt; daughters, Dana Felt Zara and April Felt.

Survivors are daughters; Robin Miles and Terri (Kenny) Manning both of Jesup, Ga.; brother, Danny (Jenny) Felt of Villages, Florida; 8 grand daughters, Jennifer Jones, Meta Miles, Jessica LaPradd, Paige Manning, Holly Manning, Laurel Miles, Morgan Morris and Melina Zara; 7 great grandchildren, David, Julian, Oliver, Genevieve, Abigail, Corrine, Caroline, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Hutto officiating.  Private entombment will be in Screven City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be friends and family. Honorary pallbearers will be the special care givers of Wayne Memorial Hospital nursing staff, Hospice of South Georgia and Dr. R.A. Pumpelly, Jr. and staff.

Family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
