David Clay, 62, of Ludowici, Ga. passed away on September 2, 2026. The California native had lived in Long County the past few years and was an employee with Service Now Heating and Air in Jesup. He loved to surf, fish, snow ski and jet ski during his leisure time. David was known as a ‘true to his word’ person. His sons remember him as a good father. His mother, Barbara Clay preceded him in death.

Survivors are 3 sons, Kyle Clay, Josh (Brittney) Clay and Tyler (Charity) Clay; 4 grandchildren, Mackenna, Wyatt, Zion, and Nola; two brothers, Doug (Edwina) Clay and Dan (Jocelyn) Clay; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
