Danny Nobles's Obituary

Mr. Danny Harold Nobles, age 54, passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2026, surrounded by his family. He lived a generous life as a beloved husband, father, and community steward.

Danny proudly owned and operated Nobles Funeral Home in Baxley, Georgia, and spent over 26 years walking alongside others in their most difficult moments. With unwavering grace, he helped countless families find comfort and peace.

Danny’s most prestigious role was in the home as a devoted husband; he treasured his wife, Rachel. His love for her was undeniably evident and rare by today’s standards. He spared no expense to provide the very best during their 20-year marriage.

Danny delighted in being a father. Described by his daughter Mollie as loving and caring, he took the utmost pride in the gift of adoption. Mollie and Sam were his greatest blessings. He pursued all opportunities for his children to receive every advantage. Together, the Nobles established a home filled with unconditional love and compassion.

Danny will be remembered as a beacon of kindness and a family man. He leaves behind a legacy rooted in service. He was a good and faithful servant who now soundly rests at the feet of Jesus.

Preceding him in death are his father, Harold Nobles, and a brother, Donnie Nobles, both of Lyons, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel H. Nobles; son, Samuel Nobles; daughter, Mollie Nobles of Jesup, GA; his mother, Audrey Kennedy (Dewayne) of Glennville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bo and Connie Hendrix, and sister-in-law, Wendy Hendrix of Statesboro.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm, at Nobles Funeral Home in Baxley.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Altamaha Baptist Church, 6622 Oglethorpe Rd, Jesup, GA 31545, with Reverend Jack Lee and Reverend Rick Brown officiating.
