Daniel Raymond Harden, 77, of Screven died on Monday, December 22, 2025. He was born in California but made his way to Georgia early in life. He was a lifelong educator in the Effingham County school system where he taught 4th grade for many years. After retirement, he moved to Screven. Dan enjoyed the farm life in his retirement years and enjoyed spending time with family. Dan was preceded in death by his parents: John and Harriet Harden; his brother John Harden.

Survivors are his wife, Reba Harden; sister Betty Smith (Bill); sons, Kyle (Bridget) Harden of Florida, Adam (Evonne) Harden of Florida, daughter, Erica Middleton of Florida; stepson Chris (Rebecca) Findley of Waleska, Georgia. 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Private memorial services will be held by the family.
