Daniel Broadhead, 31, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026. The Atlanta native had lived in Wayne County most of his life and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a 2-year mission in Indiana and attended Seminary every day. The 2013 Wayne County High School Honor Graduate was an Eagle Scout, an Elite Runner with the Wayne County Cross Country and Track Teams. He was awarded a running scholarship with Augusta University, where he attended and then was a current student at the University of Georgia. Running was a very vital part of Daniel’s life. He also enjoyed Cross Fit. His grandparents, Joe and Betty Broadhead and Patricia L. Rush preceded him in death.

Survivors are his father, Wayne (Kathy) Broadhead of Jesup and mother, Dj (Jim) Adams of Flowery Branch; a sister, Shelley Sears of Cumming; two brothers, Dustin (Haylee) Broadhead of Kennesaw and Benjamin (Ashley) Broadhead of Hawaii; several step-siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday, June 5, 2026 at Rinehart Chapel with Elder Clint Mallard officiating along with Megan O’Bara and Dean Wilson speaking.

Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held 3 PM Saturday, June 6, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Flowery Branch.
