Dale Bennett Lamb, 75, of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, April 29, 2024 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  The Wayne County native was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church and attended Calvary Baptist Church. She was a consultant for Harrelson and Associates and enjoyed kayaking on the Altamaha River and going to the beach as favorite pastime activities. She also loved fashion as she co-owned Benets' Clothing Store and modeled for several clothing stores.

She was predeceased by her godparents, Donald and Ruth Horton, her parents,  Gerald Richard and Juanita Landon Bennett; her  son, Dean Thompson, Jr.;  a sister, Kay Geiger, and  a brother, Alan Bennett.

Survivors are her son, Jody Thompson and his father, Dean Thompson, Sr. of Jesup; grandchildren, Brooke (Keith) Kinna of Jesup, Dylan Thompson of Screven, Madison (Daniel) Darden of Jesup; great grandchildren, Katee, Kennedy, Maxen and Docton; a sister, Fran Palmer, and a brother, Ricky (Patty) Bennett; companion, David Harrelson of Jesup; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be 3:00, Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from Little Creek Cemetery with Rev. Vann Dempsey and Hospice Chaplain Ryan Wilson officiating.
