Obituary

Dale Scott Daniel, 77, of Kingsland, Georgia, peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, June 22, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her illness, she demonstrated extraordinary resilience, grace, and determination that inspired all who knew and loved her.

Born and raised in Jesup, Georgia, Dale was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She spent much of her life caring for others and creating a home filled with love, kindness, and unwavering support. Approximately twenty years ago, she made Kingsland her home, where she continued to build cherished memories with her family.

Dale was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul J. Scott, Sr. and Juanita T. Scott of Jesup, Georgia; her brother, Paul Scott, Jr.; and her beloved daughter, Melinda Daniel.

She is survived by her son, Clifton “Scott” Daniel (Tonya), her daughter, Sharon Daniel Zawislak; eight grandchildren, Colby Yawn (Hattie), Alexis Wilson (Matt), Colton Zawislak , Zachary Daniel, Summer Driver (Jackson), Benjamin Chancey, Lyssa Barton, and Kensley Barton; and two cherished great-grandchildren, Madison and Mason. Although Dale will be loved and missed beyond measure her legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Bayview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the exceptional care, compassion, and kindness they showed Dale throughout her time there. Their dedication not only brought comfort to her but also provided immeasurable support to her family during a difficult time. We will always be grateful for the love and dignity with which they cared for her.

A private family burial was held in Jesup City Cemetery. Her family served as pallbearers.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup was in charge of arrangements.
