Colleen Cameron Pye, 94, of Odum, Ga. died Tuesday, March 21, 2023. The Wayne County native was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. She also was a helpmate for her military husband's career. The Red Hat Society was a vital part of her social life along with her passionate devotion to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband, Rufus Edward Pye and her  son, Michael Pye, preceded her in death along with several brothers, Elbert C., C.J. and David "Bull" Cameron.

Survivors are two sons, Eddie (Brenda) Pye and Ike (Donna) Pye, both of Odum; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and great- great grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Mosley of Jesup and Vivian (David) Edmondson of Inman, SC; and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly; a very special friend, Nola Brannen.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday March 24, 2023 at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Horne officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Georgia Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, 1240 New Hope Road, Jesup, GA 31545.
