Clifford Spencer Gilmer, 72, of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, December 13, 2023. The Coleman, native had lived in Wayne County most of his adult life, received his pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia and loved being a DAWG fan. Cliff was a member of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Jesup Elks Lodge. He was a competitive marksman, had taught firearm safety and was a member of the NRA. He also enjoyed working in his garden and he opened it in the past few years to share with his community.

Survivors are two sons, Colin Gilmer of Guyton and Alex (Jamie) Gilmer of Charleston, SC;  sister, Louise (Keith) Usry of Americus; brother, James (Melody) Gilmer of Albany; grandsons, Aidan and Archer Gilmer; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are being held by the family.

The Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of the arrangements.
