Clayton John Nadeau, Jr., 81, of Odum, Ga. died Tuesday, July 16, 2024. The Minnesota native had lived in Wayne County the past 30 years and was retired with Wayne State Prison and was a U.S. Navy veteran and also a retired U.S. Coast Guard veteran serving jointly 20 years. He enjoyed being "Papa" to all his family and an avid reader and word find enthusiast.

Survivors are his wife of 58 years, Aleta Sharpe Nadeau of Odum; daughter, Kay Marie Nadeau of Odum; a son, Marc (Susan) Nadeau of Hampton, Va.; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2024 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Justin Moriarty.

Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
