Claude "Bert" Warren, 91, of Jesup, Ga. died Friday, May 20, 2022. The Long County native had lived most of his life in Wayne County and had spent the past 6 years in Statesboro to be close to family.  He was a former member of the Epworth United Methodist Church and attended Pittman Park United Methodist Church in Statesboro, Ga. and was a 37- year retiree with ITT Rayonier. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the National Guard for several years and always enjoyed his tomato gardening and sharing with others.

Survivors are his wife of 69 years, Joan C. Warren of Statesboro, Ga.; daughter, Donna (Dr. Kevin) Purvis of Statesboro; son, Dr. David (Kate) Warren of Mansfield, Tx.; grandchildren, Christopher (Ashlyn) Purvis of Stilson, Ga., Adam Purvis of Charleston, Sc., Logan Purvis of Athens, Ga., Robby and Katie Warren both of Mansfield Tx, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2022 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jonathan Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. prior to service.
